Yesterday was the day for appointments.
Corey has his eye test at the Childrens Hospital on the morning and then i had the Doctors in the afternoon.
It's been over a year since Corey went and the reason he has to go is because he had something called retinopathy when he was a baby which was caused by having to have oxygen. Although it sort of corrected itself they did think he was going to be short sighted but on the last exam he seemed to be fine and so we haven't had to go back until now. We got there early(too early cause i thought the appt was at 10 and it was actually 1040!) but it wasn't too bad. He named all the pictures she showed him, even the ones i struggled with and managed to point to the 3D pictures ok. She said his eyesight is exceptional and she was really chuffed with him. if it hadn't been for the fact he was a prem she would have discharged him but she said to go back in 18 months and they will more than likely discharge him them, so great news!
Then we went in to town and had a McDonalds for dinner(i know, naughty mummy!) and met my dad and went for coffee. Then we headed to the doctors getting soaked in the process.
To cut a long story short i have had a cough for about 4 wks and a hourse voice too. As i also suffer from reflux i wonder if the two are combined. To be honest she didn't do much but said she thought it was more than likely something viral. She wanted to check my notes so is going to look at them and give me a call to see if they need to investigate.
Today has been another cleaning day.
Kitchen is spotless, lots of laundry done, cleaned kitchen floor, and shampooed the carpet in the living room which has needed it for a while and looks sooooo much better!
We are off to the swimming baths tonight as Corey has his first swimming lesson. That's going to be fun, NOT!!!

Awwwww, great news bout Corey - I bet you were so pleased - and off swimming today, Im sure you will have fun with that - my Mum just threw me in was I was little ( ages ago now!!) Hope you get that horse out of your throat too!!

Fantastic news about Corey's eyesight. Hope he takes to swimming like a duck to water - literally! Well done you on getting so much done. Me, I have to DRAG myself out of bed at 10 to 7 or I'm late for work. Yuk!
